About Cornwall Magazine

Cornwall Magazine is your comprehensive digital guide to one of Britain's most beautiful counties. We cover over 1,200 settlements — from bustling towns to hidden hamlets — along with beaches, historic buildings, attractions and events.

Our Mission

We believe that Cornwall's rich heritage, stunning landscapes and vibrant communities deserve a dedicated, high-quality resource. Our mission is to be the most comprehensive and accessible guide to Cornwall, combining authoritative data with local knowledge.

What We Offer

  • Places — Detailed pages for every town, village and hamlet in Cornwall, with maps, attractions, listed buildings and nearby beaches.
  • Beaches — A searchable directory of Cornwall's beaches with water quality ratings, surface types and access information.
  • Magazine — Editorial features including travel guides, history, food & drink, walks and arts & culture.
  • Events — A calendar of what's on across Cornwall, from festivals to local community events.
  • Interactive Map — Explore all of Cornwall's settlements on a fully interactive, clustered map.

Community Powered

Cornwall Magazine is built with community contributions at its heart. Anyone can submit an attraction or submit an event. All submissions are reviewed by our team before publishing.

Spot something wrong? Every page has a "Suggest an edit" button so you can help us keep information accurate and up to date.

Data Sources

Our settlement data comes from Ordnance Survey open data, enriched with information from Wikipedia (under CC BY-SA licence), Historic England listed building records, and Environment Agency bathing water data. Map data is provided by OpenStreetMap contributors.

Cornish Language

Where available, we display the Cornish (Kernewek) place name alongside the English name. We are committed to supporting and promoting the Cornish language.
