About Trerice

A perfectly preserved Elizabethan manor house tucked into a quiet valley a few miles from Newquay, Trerice survived largely unchanged through the centuries because it was far enough from the coast to be ignored by modernisers. The elaborate plaster ceilings, moulded friezes and original barrel-vaulted window alcoves are exceptional, and the small formal garden has great charm.
