About Perranzabuloe
Tucked along Cornwall’s Atlantic edge, Perranzabuloe is a coastal civil parish and hamlet with a quietly particular charm. The parish reaches out to the west where the Atlantic meets the land and shares its boundaries with neighbouring St Agnes; to the north it meets Cubert, while St Newlyn East and St Allen sit to the east and Kenwyn to the south. The little hamlet itself lies just over a mile (2 km) south of the parish’s principal settlement, Perranporth, and about seven miles (11 km) south‑southwest of the busy harbour town of Newquay. Scattered through the parish are other small settlements—Perrancoombe, Goonhavern, Mount and Callestick—each contributing to the area’s low‑key, connected feel. For visitors keen on exploring Cornwall’s varied parishes and coastal fringes, Perranzabuloe offers a compact, easy‑to‑navigate base from which to appreciate the neighbouring towns and the broad sweep of Atlantic coastline that defines the westward border.
