historicA Neolithic entrance grave on the roadside above the Lamorna valley, Tregiffian is one of the most accessible of Penwith's megalithic tombs. The cup-marked stone at the entrance — now protected by a replica — is among the finest examples of prehistoric rock art in south-west England. The chamber is thought to have served a farming community living on the sheltered south-facing slopes below.
